How it works.
ModelGain Multilingual Abilities adds four read-only, permission-aware Abilities API operations to WordPress sites that already use Polylang. Discover configured languages, find source posts without linked target-language translations, review bounded language-coverage counts, and inspect verifiable translation-link inconsistencies. Each content audit specifies a source language and Polylang-enabled post type, checks administrator and individual post permissions, and scans at most 100 source posts per request. Follow pagination markers to examine further posts; page-level results must not be presented as whole-site coverage. The plugin does not translate, create, publish, or modify content or translation associations, nor does it contact an external AI service. REST discovery is disabled by default and can be enabled only for trusted, authenticated integrations.

Requires WordPress 6.9+, PHP 7.4+ and an active configured Polylang installation. Four read-only abilities require administrator manage_options plus individual post permissions; the Tools screen checks status and settings, not a complete standalone audit UI. External REST exposure is opt-in and does not bypass authentication. Scans are limited to 100 source posts per request; coverage counters describe the scanned page, not the whole site. This plugin does not perform translations, automatically fix links, publish posts, run background jobs, assess hreflang SEO, or provide its own MCP server. Polylang Free was tested; Polylang Pro compatibility was not separately verified. Independent integration; not affiliated with Polylang.
